Gamblers at a Craps Table

If you are wanting excitement, boisterousness and more fun than you can likely stand, then craps is the only game to bet on.

Craps is a quick-paced game with whales, low-rollers, and everybody in the middle. If you are a people-watcher this is one game that you’ll absolutely enjoy observing. There’s the whale, buying in with a huge bank roll and making loud announcements when he bets across the board, "Five Hundred and Twenty across," you’ll hear the whale say. He’s the player to observe at this game and they know it. They will either win big or lose big-time and there is no in the middle.

There’s the low-roller, most likely attempting to acquaint himself with the whales. He will inform the other competitors of books he’s read through on dice tossing and hang around the hottest shooter at the table, prepared to confer and "pick each others brains".

There’s the disciple of Frank Scoblete most recent craps workshop. Although Frank is the best there is, his student will have to do his homework. This guy will take five mins to setup his dice, so apply understanding.

My preferred people at the table are the real gents from the good old days. These elderly gentlemen are normally composed, mostly congenial and will almost always give hints from the "good ole days."

When you take the chance and choose to join the game, make sure you use appropriate etiquette. Locate a spot on the rail and lay your money on the table in front of you in the "come" spot. Refrain from doing this when the pair of dice are in motion or you’ll become known as the very last personality I wanted to talk about, the jerk.
